Happiness

In our lecture on Friday, we discussed the way of refreshing. I personally have a habit to clean up my room when I get stressed, but I was impressed by Xiaotian's idea of writing out the to-do list. Relating to this lesson, I found an article that describes the way of being happy, and I thought this idea was close to getting rid of stress.
This is the picture I found in the article.


It describes the ways of refreshing, but I would like to pickup several and discuss about it.
Firstly, I thought taking a nap might be very helpful to get rid of stress, so I was surprised to know that it is not as affective as enjoying a cup of tea.
When I looked this article on internet, I found that there is a cafe in Jinbocho which enables us to enjoy both having a cup of tea and taking a nap. This cafe is named corne, which was made for working women to take a nap after lunch. I think this is a very nice idea because it can release working woman from stress.

Also I would like to mention about performing an act of kindness. By acting kindly to others, the person who received the act may become happy, however I felt it interesting that the person who acted kindly would also feel happy. If people were kind enough to do such an act, the world would be better.

    Thank you for sharing nice picture and your thought.
    It was surprising for me to find out that there are variety of effective ways to decrease a stress as well as being happy. I think everybody already has their own habit to reduce a stress, but trying something else might help people to find new ways to being happy!
    As you mentioned, there are several cafes that offer places to take nap during a day in Tokyo. I think taking good quality of nap is probably one of the most effective ways to reduce a stress. I would like to go there and have a nap someday :D
    I started to use an application called"zero app" lately. and it is really interesting as well as very helpful for me to hsve good quality of sleep. This application shows a graph of sleep condition of myself, and wakes me up when my sleep condition is shallow. I think advanced technology also help people to overcome a stressful life and to make our lifves happier!

Thank you for sharing a interesting picture, and various ways of refreshing!:) I think that the degree of happiness which a particular way of refreshing brings is different depending on each individual, just like you clean your room to reduce your stress while it could be more stressful for some people. For me, eating a piece of chocolate brings sooooo much happiness!!:D
